katarzyna Zowada was a student studying religion in poland,her freinds claimed that she was sad and depressed,later she was kidnapped and skinned alive for making skin suit.the murder revealed when her body skin was found by an sailor on his ship.here is the longest and cruelest murder in poland history.
About Katarzyna Zowada
Katarzyna Zowada was a pretty blonde student studied at Jagiellonian university in poland.According to her mates Katarzyna Zowada was a nice friendly person ,but she got sad and deppresed person after she lost her father in 1966.
Case study
On 12 november 1998 she had an appointment with her psychiatrist and her mother.but she did'nt make it.after on the same day her mother file a case of Katarzyna Zowada's missing but police ignored and said to remain calm.but she never returned.
On january 6, 1999, in Vistula river, a sailor of LOS-K 49 found a pale colored long piece on his ship,later he discovered ear attached to it.he immediatly called police.after tracing human skin dna it was found that it was skin of Katarzyna Zowada. but there was no body nearby which conclude that she was skinned alive!!!

Katarzyna's right leg and peices of her cloth were also recovered from river.but still her full body wasn't recovered.
In may 1999,investigation team was operated from various country including FBI to solve the case.
during investigation,it was revealed that her body skin was torned in such a way to make a human skin suit, later a body of man with a severed and scalped head was found by locals in river.
police suspected the killer Vladimir W from Caucasus as the killer of Katarzyna, previously he was seen wearing mask of human face.
but police was unable to create any link or evidence to prove him guilty.later he was arrested to killing his father and creating mask made up of his father face skin.
After various investigation and researches police was unable to solve and dropped the case.
In 2014 ,when technology was much more better and 3d models were easily available, Katarzyna's was opened again.Her preserved corpses were demanded and a 3d layout of her body and skin was desgined.

after researching it was conclude that she was tortured before her murder with sharp tool to wound the victim.
it was also revealed that the killer was probably train martial artist.

in october 2017, after 20 years of crime the killer was arrested named Whingeing Robert J, from kazimierz district who was previously acting of not knowing Katarzyna. he was arrested for murdering and making suit from Katarzyna's skin.
police searched his apartment and stain of blood was found in his bathroom.As a result, the bath and frame was secured for further investigation.
Robert j was a martial artist who knew Katarzyna and also visited her grave after her death. he had a history in harasshing women. he had previously worked in dissecting lab, where he use to dissect human corpses.
he had also work in zoology department where animal were skinned to experiment.he lost his job after killing all rabbit on his duty.he was not able to describe his action.
the case is still operating in court,Robert j also complained against the police guards for harrashing him to court.after it he was accused for lying and blaming police officer forharrashing.As july 2020 Robert is still in police custody while court is continue gathering fullproof evidence.
